La società Rugby Mogliano ha annunciato venerdì l’acquisto di Cameron Eyre, una terza linea numero 8 neozelandese. Eyre con i suoi 108 kg per 1 metro e 90 di altezza, è nato nel novembre del 1986 e attualmente è in forza a Northland, stessa squadra di Mark Burman, con la quale sta per iniziare per il terzo anno consecutivo la stagione 2011 dell’ITM Cup (NPC). “Cameron sarà a disposizione dei nostri tecnici dalle prime settimane di settembre, dopo aver terminato i sui impegni in terra neozelandese.”, ci dice il ds del Mogliano Gianluca Mazzanti, “Purtroppo, anche se a malincuore, non ci è stato possibile raggiungere un accordo con Louis Stanfill che sarà impegnato con gli USA nella prossima coppa del mondo, ed a quel punto abbiamo cercato un giocatore che possa sostituirlo adeguatamente. Con Eyre pensiamo di aver azzeccato la mossa giusta.”
